Your listing on Independent Space Index

Independent Space Index doesn’t actively recruit new members or add spaces to the list without prior consent. Please use our signup form to request a listing and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Membership of the association is not necessary for a listing in the directory. No personal data is stored in this case. You can object to the listing of your space at any time via contact@independentspaceindex.at.

Membership of the association Independent Space Index

As a member of our association, you conclude a membership contract with us. We process the following personal data from you for the purpose of fulfilling the association’s tasks in accordance with our association statutes:

  • name

  • address

  • e-mail address

  • Phone number

Your data will be stored by us for the duration of your membership. In the event that you leave the association, your data will be stored for the legally prescribed period (usually 7 years or 10 years due to the requirements of some public funding agencies) in order to fulfill our legal obligation to retain data.

Participation in our events

As a participant in our association’s events, your personal data will be stored insofar as this is necessary for registration or participation in the events.

We may also inform you that photographs, audio and/or video recordings may be made as part of our association events. These recordings may be used in various media (print, TV, online) and in publications (print, online) of our association.

Visiting our website

The association is responsible for the content of the website and is both media owner and publisher. When you visit our website, we will collect the following information:

Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp from The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA (Mailchimp) to send our newsletter. This enables us to contact subscribers directly. In addition, we analyze your usage behavior in order to optimize our offer.

Mailchimp is the recipient of your personal data and acts as a processor for us as far as the sending of our newsletter is concerned. In addition, Mailchimp collects the following personal data using cookies and other tracking methods: Information about your end device (IP address, device information, operating system, browser ID, information about the application you use to read your emails and other information about hardware and internet connection. In addition, usage data such as date and time, when you opened the email / campaign and browser activities (e.g. which emails / websites were opened) are collected. Your data will be processed for as long as the corresponding consent is available. Apart from this, it will be deleted after the termination of the contract between us and Mailchimp, unless legal requirements make further storage necessary.

Mailchimp has implemented compliance measures for international data transfers. These apply to all global activities where Mailchimp processes personal data of natural persons in the EU. Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open source, self-hosted software to collect anonymous usage data for this website.

The data on visitor behavior is collected to identify any problems such as pages not found, search engine problems or unpopular pages. As soon as the data (number of visitors who see error pages or only one page, etc.) is processed, Matomo generates reports for the website operators so that they can react to them.
